International
Management Qualifications are Centre assessed using Standard criteria with
ILM verification taking place in THRDGLs office in Nottingham. See
Assessment Forms Appendix 3 & 4.
- learning
hours = 65 full 22 introduction. Tutors will amalgamate the workshop
hours (from the attendance register) with the system generated CPD hours displayed
in the Personal Records - Record CPD Hours review sessions
do not qualify.
- a short presentation (full only)
for blended courses the presentation will be assessed by the centre face
to face - in the case of fully distant learning the candidate is to submit a presentation
on video.

The
presentation should focus on either:
an explanation
of how learning derived from the programme has been applied in work, and the positive
outcomes of this, or a simulated team briefing perhaps using a real
issue from the workplace, or adapting some element of the programme In
each case, knowledge should be clearly demonstrated, together with appropriate
communication skills, and an ability to select relevant material and present it
effectively The presentation should last a minimum of
5 minutes. Written outline notes, cue cards or visual aids must be available to
the External Verifier to evidence the candidates planning and preparation
processes.

| Candidates
are required to achieve a minimum of half the available marks against each of
the following criteria:
- Select relevant information
prior to briefing/presenting (15 marks)
- Plan and prepare an effective briefing/presentation
(30 marks)
- Conduct effective team briefing/presentation (40marks)
- Use
appropriate communication methods for checking understanding (15 marks)
- mini project (full only) centred assessed (external for framework courses)
NB8: A mini-Project guideline is attached to the last
eprogramme session.
- knowledge verification
(full only) - Effective team leadership is best underpinned by sound knowledge,
and this forms the rationale for this assessment component.
Each
module has an optional knowledge verification multi-answer quiz with a pass level
of 50%. Candidates must answer 80 questions out of a random bank of 187 covering
25 segments and get 40 correct.
In addition 20 short answer questions (defined
as questions with a pre-determined answer of no more than a few words)
will be set in classroom exam conditions at the end of the programme for the full
certificate. All questions must be answered in a maximum of 120 minutes. The pass
mark is 60%

A Knowledge Test guideline is attached
to the last eprogramme session.
NB10:
For the introduction certificate 12
questions in 1 hour with 60% pass mark. In regard to assessment the classroom
exam will be externally assessed for introductory courses framework only
- but internally assessed for standard programmes and the full framework.

- reflective learning
(full only) participants must complete 4 PDPs achieve via 2 forms Customise
Plan and Record CPD Hours.
