This practical 1-day foundation course will provide an overview of the important elements of employment law and provide guidance on how to tackle issues within the workplace.

  • what is a contract of employment?
  • different types of contract – part-time, fixed-term, agency and contract workers
  • varying the contract of employment

5. Discrimination issues

  • race, sex and disability, sexual orientation, religion andbelief and age
  • harassment and bullying
